I like your take, Emily. I was listening into a Twitter space last week, and the host was talking (disgruntledly to say the least) about the VC space. His point was how it equates to taking everything you know about the way business is done, and flipping it on its head. Investing millions in the select few (with bias typically present) with the aim to hit massive returns. I think there is potential for change in the space, but there's a lot of difficult and uncomfortable work ahead. I know there are some venture funds, like Overlooked Ventures, that are seeking to fund more than just the 100th CRM. I could not agree with you more overall - the future is all about funding community and sustainable solutions that come from those that have the power to change the world. Our communities need our support, today more than ever.
